We Were Here Tomorrow Launch: Platforms, Co-op and Known Issues
The We Were Here Tomorrow launch brings two-player co-op to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Check online requirements, launch offers and known issues.

The October 20 launch is confirmed
The We Were Here Tomorrow launch took place on October 20, 2026. Total Mayhem Games marked the release with an official Steam announcement, and the active Steam, US PlayStation and US Xbox listings confirm the game is available for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. This report was checked on October 21 and concerns the released game.
For prospective partners, the important question is whether their actual setup fits this particular adventure. The launch makes a new puzzle journey available, while the player count, connection requirements and current support notices determine how a first session can begin.
A science-fiction facility replaces the familiar castle
The official description places two Explorers in the Norček Industries facility beneath Antarctica, with incomplete memories and a missing research team. Each player has a different role and tool. The puzzles use their differing perspectives, with walkie-talkies helping them share information while separated. The developer presents an imagined 1980s future as the setting.
That premise suggests a useful expectation: being unable to see everything your partner sees is part of the intended puzzle structure. A first session can leave room to explore that difference without reading ahead through solutions or assuming that one player should direct every interaction. This is our reading of the published design description.
Prepare for two people playing online
Steam identifies the game as co-op only and requires both players to have a working PC-compatible microphone and an internet connection. Xbox lists online co-op for two players. The Steam page also describes the series entries as standalone adventures, so completing earlier games is not presented as an entry requirement.
Our practical suggestion is to agree on a partner and check voice input before setting aside an evening. A working headset in another application is a useful starting point, but it does not establish that this game's selected input is correct. Allow a short setup window before expecting the first puzzle to begin.
Check the requirements for your own platform
The PC listing specifies Windows 11 in its minimum requirements. On PS5, the US store says online play and PlayStation Plus are required. The US Xbox listing also requires a console online multiplayer subscription. Those service conditions deserve attention alongside the game itself when two people are deciding whether they are ready to connect.
These are checks of the named storefronts, rather than a claim about every country's catalog or subscription terms. Use the regional listing associated with your account before purchasing. We have not tested connections between these platforms, measured performance or verified every hardware configuration against the publisher's requirements.
Keep the launch offer and optional extras separate
Total Mayhem Games advertises a ten-percent launch discount for the first two weeks. The Steam listing consulted here displays an introductory offer ending November 3. Its Fan Edition adds a digital artbook, soundtrack and wallpapers. The US PlayStation discount is explicitly tied to PlayStation Plus, with an end time of November 3 at 08:00 UTC.
Check the final regional store page for eligibility and the precise offer attached to your purchase. Optional artwork and music extras answer a different interest from access to the puzzle adventure itself. We are not quoting a universal price or treating the offers on different storefronts as identical.
Read the current support notice before troubleshooting
The developer's known-issues page, updated October 21, documents start-up, voice, visual and progression problems alongside possible workarounds. It notes that audio-input settings may fail to save and that a checkpoint reload is a temporary workaround for some issues. Its references to an upcoming patch describe future fixes, not a completed resolution of every listed problem.
If a session fails, record the platform and what happened, then find the matching official support entry. A launch announcement confirms availability; this support notice supplies additional context for playing the current release. Neither source establishes that every pair will encounter an issue, nor guarantees that a suggested workaround will resolve a particular setup.
