ProjectGAMR is a free browser arcade and English-language gaming publication. Pick a game, learn a strategy, or explore a question about the way people play. Every game is available without a subscription or advertising.
Built for real play
Our catalogue spans boards, cards, puzzles, words and quick arcade challenges. Same-device multiplayer means sharing a screen; solo games run in your browser. Chess, tic-tac-toe, checkers and Chinese checkers also offer private invitation rooms for friends on separate devices, without accounts. We state the supported rules and modes so you know what you are playing.
An independent new chapter
The domain previously hosted the Game and Mind Research project. We document that history as part of the site’s editorial context. The current ProjectGAMR publication is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by MIT, MIT Media Lab or Tilburg University. We do not operate the former study or possess its participant data.
