YOUR BREAK. YOUR DEVICE.
A small, straightforward privacy guide for the way this site works.
What runs locally
Solo and same-device games run in your browser. Four games also offer optional private online rooms. We do not require an account, build player profiles or run third-party advertising and behavioral analytics scripts. We do not use the former GAMR survey, its APIs or its participant records.
Private online rooms
Chess, tic-tac-toe, checkers and Chinese checkers can store a private room on our server. The room contains the board and moves needed to validate play, hashed player-seat credentials, invitation verification, rematch votes and its creation and expiry times. It is unavailable 24 hours after creation; an automatic alarm deletes its stored game data. Rematches and reconnects do not extend that time. Room invitations are private bearer links: the first invited visitor to join reserves the second seat. There is no public room list, chat or account. Your browser stores a temporary seat credential so you can reconnect; clearing site data loses that seat. Expired local room credentials are removed when the game next loads.
Local preferences and progress
This site uses browser local storage for saved games (favorites), XP, completed activities, your daily activity and the reduced-motion preference. These values stay in this browser and are not an online account or public leaderboard. You can reset progress in your player card and clear all site data below or in browser settings. Solo and same-device boards reset on refresh. Private online rooms reconnect using the temporary credential saved in your browser.
Hosting and requests
The hosting provider processes normal technical request information needed to serve and protect the website, such as IP address, requested path and browser headers. We have not installed a separate advertising or visitor-analytics service. A private review deployment may also require the hosting platform’s own sign-in and cookies; those are managed by the platform.
Email and external links
Clicking an email link opens your chosen mail application. If you send a message, your email provider and our mail service process its contents. Linked research, game publishers and other external sites have their own policies. Sources open only when you choose a link.
Controls and contact
Use the motion control in the footer, the player-card reset, or the clear-data button below. Browser privacy controls may prevent local storage; the core games still work. For privacy questions, contact info@projectgamr.com.
