Minecraft Preview 26.60.30 Targets Realms Uploads and Touch Stutter
Minecraft Preview 26.60.30 lists Realms upload improvements and targeted fixes. Learn what the October 6 notes confirm and what beta status means.

A focused preview release
Mojang published the Minecraft Beta and Preview 26.60.30 notes on October 6, 2026. The short changelog targets Realms uploads, an add-on-related achievement problem and visual stuttering with touch controls. This October 16 report explains that specific build; it does not describe it as the newest available preview or a final update for every Minecraft player. Preview numbers and stable-release numbers refer to different stages of development, so check the full version string before deciding whether a note applies to you.
The three listed changes
The notes describe improvements to world upload speed and reliability for Realms. They also state that worlds whose achievements were incorrectly disabled because of add-on use will have them re-enabled on first play, and identify a fix for visual stuttering with touch controls. These are the publisher’s stated changes. No upload benchmarks, universal performance percentage or independent confirmation accompanies our report. In particular, the achievement note concerns an incorrectly disabled state; it does not establish that every add-on or every world is now eligible for achievements.
Preview is a distinct testing channel
Mojang labels these versions work in progress and warns that they may be unstable or differ from final quality. The note names Preview availability on Xbox, PlayStation, Windows and iOS, and an Android beta through Google Play. Access and enrolment depend on the platform’s instructions. If you normally play a stable version with friends, do not assume the same build is installed on every device. Read the current entry and exit instructions before changing a shared setup or expecting compatibility with another person’s game.
How to check a claimed fix
If you choose to test, make the comparison specific. Record the version, device, input method and exact steps that previously produced the problem. For an upload issue, note the world size and network conditions; for a visual issue, note the touch action and location. Change one relevant variable at a time where practical. This is our suggested observation method, not a testing procedure supplied by Mojang and not a claim that we reproduced the issues. Clear steps help separate an improvement from an unrelated change in circumstances.
A useful report includes what still fails
An informative bug report describes the expected result, actual result and repeatable steps. Avoid including account passwords or unrelated personal material in an attachment. The official notes link both feedback and bug-reporting destinations, which serve different purposes from a social-media comment. Before filing, check whether the issue already has an entry and whether its affected version matches yours. A duplicate symptom may have a different cause, while a useful update to an existing report can be more valuable than another broad complaint.
What remains unconfirmed
The changelog is evidence of intended changes in this preview, not evidence that the same fixes are already available in every stable edition. It also does not establish when a later release will arrive. Keep those questions separate when sharing the update with a group. Our practical takeaway is to read small patch notes closely: a targeted fix may matter more to your setup than a long feature list, but only if the version, platform and original problem match. We have not installed or benchmarked this preview.
